Toledo: Paynes Creek National Park; edge of Eleocharis marsh. 16°19'00" N, 88°34'49" W Abundant herb in damp mud patches between sedge tussocks at marsh fringe. Transition between open Eleocharis marsh and open savanna grassland with extensive palmetto patches. Eleocharis-dominated marsh, ground still damp and wet at end of long dry season with small patch of open water at centre; fringed by numerous sedges. Not burnt recently.
