Corozal: Uacax Kai. Isolated Eleocharis marsh 300 m North
of Sarteneja road at Mile 28.5, halfway between Sarteneja &
Chunox.
18°17'35" N, 88°17'30" W
Frequent creeping herb; fleshy leaves: flowers white with
yellow centre maturing to pale pink with rose pink/purple
centre; growing on bare ground in small island in Eleocharis
marsh.
Open Eleocharis marsh in seasonal, deciduous forest on
limestone. Marsh dominated by Eleocharis sp., pools of open
water at centre & fringed by abundant Dalbergia glabra,
frequent Acoelorraphe wrightii, Cameraria latifolia,
occasional Crescentia cujete & Metopium brownei.
