Orange Walk: Savanna West between Crooked Tree Wildlife Sanctuary & New River Lagoon; ~2 Km South of access road from Crooked Tree Village. 17°44'14" N, 88°35'51" W Occasional scandent herb: flowers with 3 clawed, bright cobalt blue petals (2 large, 1 small) & 3 yellow anthers. Open woody savanna with large white, sandy patches, palmetto clumps & small oak thickets. Occasional Quercus oleoides (locally abundant) 5 m, frequent Pinus caribaea 5-8 m, Curatella americana 3 m, Acoelorraphe wrightii 3m & Chrysobalanus icaco 1 m.
