Oak thicket (in middle of open savanna grassland). Dominated by Quercus oleoides 8 m with occasional Pinus caribaea 12 m (30%). Shrub layer (50%) with abundant Byrsonima crassifolia 0-2 m, frequent Curatella americana 2 m & occasional Schippia concolor 1-3 m.
