Frequent tiny herb in damp area; black & gray inflorescence.
Open pine savanna. Scattered Pinus caribaea 8-10 m,
scattered Acoelorraphe wrightii stands 5 m, thickets of
Calliandra houstoniana, Curatella americana & Byrsonima
crassifolia. Grass dominated herbaceous layer. Sandy soil.
