Site 7 18° 01° 09.84" N 88° 31° 35.82" W (WGS84) Open woody savanna with scattered pine; with abundant Crescentia cujete (5 m), frequent Byrsonima crassifolia (3 m), frequent Myrtaceae (2 m), occasional Pinus caribaea (17 m) providing <5% canopy cover with islands of denser shrubs such as Metopium brownei, Acoelorraphe wrightii & Hampea trilobata around Quecus oleioides (16 m). Herb layer 60% sedges and 40% grasses together providing 80% ground cover. Alt.: 20m Frequent herb to 10 (-20) cm; 1 flower; 6 yellow-orange tepals, yellow on abaxial surface; 6 yellow anthers.
