Elev. 1700 m 27° 58' 27" N, 98° 39' 18.3" E E facing 10-30° slope Subtropical evergreen broadleaf forest Disturbed by clearing. Secondary substropical evergreen broadleaf forest, disturbed by clearing and dorminated by Pinus and Lindera. Shrub, 50 cm tall. Fruit green to brown. Common. Growing at forest margin. In loam on slate.
