Vicinity of km 58 along road from Liuku to Pianma, E side of Gaoligong Shan. Elev. 2649 m 25° 58’ 36" N, 98° 42’ 17" E SE facing 30-60° slope. Deciduous broadleaf forest. Disturbed by felling. Deciduous broadleaf forest with Lithocarpus, Cyclobalanopsis, regenerating Tsuga. Secondary forest by felling. Shrub ca. 3 m tall. Corolla white, bud flushed with pink, greenish yellow at base inside. Common. Growing along road, steep bank in sun. In loam on decomposed granite.
