Vicinity of km 58 km on the road from Lushui to Pianma, W side of Gaoligong Shan. Elev. 3310 m 25° 58’ 39" N, 98° 40’ 32" E NE facing 10-30° slope. Subtropical evergreen broadleaf forest. Disturbed by agriculture. Secondary subtropical evergreen forest mixed with conifer forest disturbed by agriculture. Tree 8-10 m tall. Flowers pale yellow. Rare. Growing along the roadside.
