Shrub 60-80 cm tall; soft hairs on leaves and stems: flowers
and fruits clustered between opposite leaves, 4 calyx lobes, 4
white petals, 8 pinkish red stamens, fruits berry dark purple
Open savanna with pines, Melastomataceae, grasses and
