Field Station. Clearing near the edge of the forest and pine savannah.
Damp soil with lots of organic matter on surface. 11 m. 17°34'50"N, 88°
42'8"W.
A 2m tall herb with long green leaves of about a metre long with a light
green primary vein, no smell, red-orange long inflorescence, yellow to
ROvALE ' pale orange stout rachisof flower, bracts close together but not
EDIE eEN overlapping and pointed tip with the lowest like a large green balde
| | about half feet in length.
