At interface between dense forest and savannah. Forest dominated by Palm (Roystonea regia), with emergent Terminalia amazonia; savannah dominated by Pine (Pinus caribaea) and Palm (Acoelorraphe wrightii) with Costus and Renealmia. Sandy substrate. 18 m. 17°35'N, 88°42'W. Vine. 3 winged seed, which is light brown in the centre and darker brown on the edges. Leaves are pale green on top and paler underneath. Jones, Katy E.
