Locality: Thailand, Yala, Than To, Hala Bala Wildlife Sanctuary. Trail from Khlong Nam Sai. Disturbed evergreen forest in dry area beside lake 6° 03'10" N, 101° 22'80" E 135 m. Notes: Tree 8 m tall, 8 cm dbh. Leaves dark green above, slightly paler beneath. Inflorescences purple, anthers pale yellow. Collector: David J.
