Gaoligong Shan.

E facing 10-30° slope.
Subtropical evergreen broadleaf forest.
Disturbed by agriculture.
Disturbed secondary forest dominated by Fagaceae and
Pinus yunnanensis.
Shrub ca. 2 m tall. Rare.
Growing in shady area as understory shrub.
In loam on limestone.
