Region: Kordestan; Sanandaj. Alt.: 1200-1400 m. Habitat: flat muddy gravelly river banks rich in herbs, with some low scrub. Notes: here in mud several inches deep, but also occurring widely in all sorts of moist places, sometimes forming pure stands; cultivated? Stems to 1m long, then lying more or less flat.
