Yaduo Cun, in the vicinity of Shibali, N side of N fork of Yamu He, E side of Gaoligong Shan. Elev. 2470 m 27° 9’ 49" N, 98° 477 1" E SW facing 30-60° slope. Subtropical evergreen broadleaf forest. Undisturbed. Forest with dominants of Fagaceae and Lauraceae. Tree ca. 5 m tall. Fruit green with a glaucous bloom. Pealing bark reddish brown. Rare. Growing in forest under story on moist slope.
