Place: 35°23'N 46°46'E. Region: West central Kordestan,. Alt.: 1500-1700 m. Habitat: eastern slope with scattered rocks, more or less densely covered with herbs. Notes: plant glaucous. Inflorescence dull dark purplish. Outer tepals deep dark purple, inner ones dark blue with darker centre and whitish claw; filaments purple, anthers brownish; style pale purple, stigmas darker. Expedition of the University of Minnesota, U.S.A., Dr. H. E. Wright, Jr., leader. Sets of this collection were distributed by the Rijksherbarium, Leiden, Netherlands (L), to the Herbaria at Vienna (W), Minneapolis (MIN), Edinburgh (E), Kew (K), and Groningen (GRO).
