30m west of Southern trail, plot 3.
18° 12° 20.98" N 88° 11° 18.96" W (WGS84)
Tropical evergreen, lowland, seasonal, broadleaf forest:
Yucatan variant (Cohune ridge). Canopy 16-20m, growing in
association with Calophyllum brasiliense, Bursera simaruba &
Metopium brownei.
Altitude: 10m
Shallow leaf litter, heavy brown soil over limestone bedrock, >36
yrs since farming.
18.2m tall tree, 15cm dbh with grey, cracked and brittle bark.
Scentless slash is magenta/pink with a yellow centre.
