Belize: Corozal District, Fireburn Reserve, ~2 km NE of Fireburn
village, ~30 m north of NE trail, plot 27.
18° 12’ 43.4" N 88° 10° 55.6" W (WGS84)
Tropical, evergreen broadleaf forest: Yucatan variant. Growing
in association with Vitex gaumen, Metopium brownei & Bursera
simaruba. Canopy of ~15 m.
Altitude: <10m
XQ Area farmed 16-36 yrs previously. Thick leaf litter on limestone
bedrock.
ROYAL BOTANIC GARDEN 1.6m understory shrub.
