Wg 18° 12° 30.5" N 88° 10° 58.4" W (WGS84) Tropical evergreen, lowland, seasonal, broadleaf forest: Yucatan variant (Cohune ridge). Canopy 13-15m, few mature trees in immediate vicinity, dense understory dominated by young Attalea cohune & Piper sp. Altitude: 10m 5cm deep leaf litter, limestone bedrock, <16 yrs since farming. Tree 16.25m tall, 15.2cm dbh, smooth grey/reddish bark.
