On the N side of Nianwaluo He on the trail from Fucai to Chukuai lake, ca. 4.5 direct km S of Gawagapu mountain and ca. 15.5 direct km WSW of Bingzhongluo, E side of Gaoligong Shan. Elev. 3150 m 27°58 7A" N, 98° 28 51.5" E SW facing 60+° slope Thicket Undisturbed. Thicket without disturbance, dominanted by Rhododendron and Bamboo. Evergreen tree 4-5 m tall. Young fruit green with brown hairs. Frequent. Growing in shade of bamboo. In loam on limestone.
