Dafang Yakou on the way from Pianma to Gangfang, W side of Gaoligong Shan. Elev. 2220 m 26° 2’ 13" N, 98° 37’ 3"E SE facing 30-60° slope. Subtropical evergreen broadleaf forest. Disturbed by clearing. Secondary subtropical evergreen forest slight disturbed by clearing. Tree 4-6 m tall. Flowers pink. Occasional. Growing on slope in sun. In loam on marble.
