Primary forest dominated by Tsuga, Picea, Abies, and Larix mixed with deciduous broadleaved trees. Epiphytic shrub ca. 50 cm tall. Fruit green. Rare. Growing on broadleaves trees at forest margin. Among moss on bark on granite.
