border marker 8), Jiangao Shan. W of Gaoligong Shan.
Elev. 2750-2850 m 25° 47' 53.1" N, 98° 37' 26.6" E
W facing 30-60° slope
Subtropical evergreen broadleaf forest
Undisturbed.
Forest dominated by Lithocarpus and Tsuga.
Tree ca. 10 m tall. Corolla cream colored with purple in throat.
Common. Growing in forest.
In loam on limestone.
