Xizang (Tibet) Province, Baxoi Xian: Anjiu La (pass), N of Rawu
(Raog) on road to Baxoi (Paksho) (highway 318). 29°40'22"N,
96°46'41"E; 4480--4650 m. Grazed slopes with Juniperus,
Rhododendron, Salix and Potentilla glabra. Dominant shrub on
slope; ca. 1-1.5 m tall; young leaves white on lower surface,
turning brown with age.
