Caldera: Coastal road from Carrizal Bajo to Totoralillo.
27°57'56"S, 71°6'10"W. Alt. 179 m
Habitat: Coastal desert fog zone. Seasonally flooded wide river
outlet in gravelly soils. Associated species including : Senna
cumingii var. cumingii, Calceolaria collina, Teucrium nudicaule
Haplopappus deserticola, Schizanthus candidus, Cistanthe
longiscapa, Chaetanthera glabrata, Heliotropium linearifolium
Pluerophora pungens, Crukshanksia montiana, Chorizanthe
commisuralis, Calliandra chilensis. Infrequent.
Description: Sub-shrub to 30 cm tall; flowers yellow-orange.
