Anderson BRAZIL, Goias. Americano do Brasil, near Goids. Mata, somewhat altered - evidence of grazing and opening up to grasses on upper portion; pyroxenite substrate. 700 m elev. Shrub to 3 m. Leaves dull green, lighter on under surface. Inflorescence to 25-30 cm. Flowers to 4 em. diam., bright yellow; margins of petals feathered; asym. petal has patch of pinkish veins at center.
