BRAZIL, Goias. Macedo, ca. 15 km N of Niquelandia;
14°18'S, 48°24'W. NW facing hill slope, rocky
pyroxenite/peridotite-based slope, and flat area
adjacent to roadside below, about 1-1.5 km west of
nickel ore workings. Ca. 1000 m. Campo.
Shrub to 70 cm, from woody stock. Flowers in ter-
minal spikes, 5 cm., down pointing recurved flowers
to 2 cm diam. Petals yellow, crimped.
