SW facing 30-60° slope
Subtropical evergreen broadleaf forest
Disturbed by felling.
Forest dominated by Lithocarpus.
Tree 6-8 m tall. Flowers reddish ping. Stigma purple. Young fruit
with gray trichomes. Rare. Growing beside stream in forest in
sun.
In sand on granite.
