Schauer Det by Z.A.Goodwin on Aug 07 Belize: Stann Creek District, Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary, ~2 km west of visitors centre, ~60 m north of Wari Loop trail, plot 15. 16° 46° 47.5" N 88° 28’ 5.4" W (WGS84) Tropical, evergreen, seasonal, lowland moist forest, granite bedrock. Altitude: ~100m Recently disturbed. 6 m tree, 10.1 cm dbh; rank odour from crushed leaves; thick soft spongy bark, pale slash with orange flecks.
