Elev. 2405 m 24° 55’ 26" N, 98° 45’ 9" E E facing 10-30° slope. Subtropical evergreen broadleaf forest. Undisturbed. Subtropical evergreen broadleaf forest dominated by Rhododendron, Ilex, Ligustrum, Viburnum and Bamboo. Tree ca. 5 m tall. Flowers red, speckled in upper Num 25143 throat.
