Remnant forest of Quercus, Acer spp., Prunus spp., Carpinus, Crataegus and Tilia on slopes and ridges intermixed with areas of planted trees of Pinus and Larix. Open ledges; with Enkianthus. Shrubs 2-3 m tall; corolla purple, throat lighter, upper lobe and adjacent part of later lobes with dark purple spotting. D. E. Boufford, with Y.
