Elev. 1850 m 24° 52’ 23" N, 98° 43’ 31" E
SE facing 10-30° slope.
Subtropical evergreen broadleaf forest.
Disturbed by agriculture and felling.
Subtropical evergreen broadleaf forest dominated by
Schima, Lithocarpus and Castanopsis.
Tree ca. 4 m tall. Young fruit green, flushed with red.
Occasional.
Growing at forest edge full sun.
In silt or mud on slate.
