W side of the Dulong Jiang in the vicinity of Xiongdang pass ca. 1 km N of Dizhengdang (Lengdang) and ca. 23.5 direct km N of Kongdang. Elev. 2000 m 28° 5’ 17" N, 98° 19’ 33" E SE facing 30-60° slope. Subtropical evergreen broadleaf forest. Disturbed by felling. Slightly disturbed by human activity such as fire wood collecting. Shrub in bud. Occasional. Growing along trail under Pinus forest. In loam on marble.
