Elev. 2710 m 25° 59’ 26" N, 98° 39’ 33" E NW facing 30-60° slope. Subtropical evergreen broadleaf forest. Disturbed by clearing. Subtropical evergreen forest disturbed by clearing. Dorminated by Lithocarpus and Cyclobalanopsis. Tree 4-5 m tall. Young fruit green. Occasional. Growing in forest on slope, in sun. In loam on limestone.
