Daguntang of Jintang village, W side of Gaoligong Shan. Elev. 2075 m 24° 49° 48" N, 98° 45° 29" B NW facing 10-30° slope. Subtropical evergreen broadleaf forest. Disturbed by agriculture. Secondary subtropical evergreen broadleaf forest disturbed by Agriculture and clearing. Dominated by Lithocarpus, Schima, Lindera and Alnus. Tree ca. 6 m tall. Young fruit green. Occasional. Growing under forest along trail. In silt or mud on decomposed granite.
