Along the river just to the E of Pianma. In the vicinity of the old hydroelectric station, W side of Gaoligong Shan. Elev. 1950 m 26° 0’ 35" N, 98° 37’ 56" E SE facing 10-30° slope. Subtropical evergreen broadleaf forest. Disturbed by agriculture. Secondary subtropical evergreen forest disturbed by agriculture. Tree ca. 4 m tall. Flowers white. Rare.
