Disturbed by clearing. Subtropical evergreen forest disturbed by clearing. Dorminated by Lithocarpus, Cyclobalanopsis and Ilex. Shrub 2-3 m tall. Old fruit brown. Frequent. Growing along roadside. In sand on marble.
