Alt: 575M Lat/Long: 37°1'59"N, 138°44'43.6"E Habitat: In shade on dry heavy loam, growing on a moderate north facing hillside in dense broadleaf forest Vegetation: Fagus crenata, Carpinus cordata, Quercus serrata, Camellia japonica var decumbens, Hamamelis japonica and Magnolia salicifolia Description: From a deciduous shrub to 1.5m x 1m with broadly rhombre/cuneate base leaf 6cm x 3.5cm, mid green above and below, margins entire.
