Ca. 1.5 direct km ESE of E Nankang Yakou on the road from Baoshan to Tengchong, E side of Gaoligong Shan. ‘ Elev. 2181 m 24° 49° 34" N, 98° 46’ 14" E S facing 10-30° slope. Subtropical evergreen broadleaf forest. Disturbed by felling. Subtropical evergreen broadleaf forest dominated by Lithocarpus, Symplocos, Schima and Manglietia. Disturbed by felling. Tree ca. 10 m tall. Fruit green with brown hair. Frequent. Growing in forest on slope in sun. In loam on limestone.
