Subtropical evergreen broadleaf forest. Disturbed by felling. Subtropical evergreen broadleaf forest dominated by Lithocarpus, Symplocos, Schima and Manglietia. Disturbed by felling. Tree ca. 10 m tall. Fruit green with brown hair. Frequent. Growing in forest on slope in sun. In loam on limestone.
