Habitat Alt. 700 m
Hill Dipterocarp forest, associates include: Shorea,
Dipterocarpus, Sapotaceae, Castanopsis, Xanthophyllum.
Growing on sloped hill.
Morphology:
Tree 12 m tall, 11 cm dbh. Outer bark caramel brown
longitudinally fissured throughout, rugose. Inner bark
salmon pink. Leaves light olive green beneath shiny.
Cauliflorous, fruit dark reddish-brown, rugose. ;
