Hill Dipterocarp forest, associates include: Shorea, ,
Dipterocarpus, Sapotaceae, Castanopsis, Xanthophylium.
Growing on sloped hill.
Morphology:
Small tree 6 m, 7 cm dbh. Outer bark grey, inner bark
salmon. Leaves dull pale green beneath, veins Prominent
raised and ribbed. Fruit bright orange. ’
