Rocky outcrop, primary forest, dwarf canopy, north facing slope near ridgetop. 480 m. 22°23'N, 105°37'E. Shrub to 30 cm. Stem light brown, smooth, regular internodes - 1 cm apart. Runner, plantlets arise from axillary bud, sandy wood colour, no smell. Thin fibrous roots, no smell or exudate. Flower Single large petal, like sail. White, purple markings at top, yellow marking below. 3 mm diameter. Petal attached to narrow, light green trumpet, longer dorsal light green sepal extends above white fleshy petal. 2 stamens with brown anthers within trumpet.
