Inflorescence a panicle of bright egg yolk- yellow flowers. Scattered shrubs within habit; frequent. Rush dominated semi-wetland adjacent to water course; often waterlogged. Associate species Cyperaceae, Compositae and Mimosoideae. Silty sand often waterlogged.
