Habitat: Very degraded, isolated pocket of native vegetation
dominated by Rhododendron smirnowii
Description: Evergreen shrub to 1 m tall with densely
tomentose stems and underside of leaves; flowers deep pink in
bud: paler when fully open
Date: 27th September 2005.
