Morphology: Tree 20 m tall, 23 cm dbh. Bole 15 m. Branching Spirally Outer bark beige, deeply fissured. Inner bark pale orange. Wood fibrous (like Fagaceae). Leaves fleshy, pale yellowish green beneath, dark green above, veins indistinct. Flower : bud pale yellow.
