Rhododendron V~ |
Sang-shan-ping (Yangtze loop). Fle. & fine rosy purple. Ovary
concealed, Base of filaments hairy. Large Leafy calyx.
Trusses with 3 or 4 flowers. Small compact bushy shrub on
sheltered Limestone cliff. in full bloom. Lve. covered on
both surfaces with pustule like scales, which do not overlap,
giving a slight rusty appearence below. 13.4.22
