Leaves waxy on the upper side, paler green on the underside. Young leaves with abundant red hairs on the under side. Pedicel of the inflorescence long, hairy and bright dark pink. Male flowers with white petals and bright yellow stamens. Female flowers with white petals, pink at the base, with bright yellow stigmas. Bracts pinkish. Fruits and wings green, pink when mature.
