Edge of savanna scrub; located in a clearing on wet soil. Caribbean pine canopy with Palmaceae understorey. ca 14 m. 17°34'59.7"N, 88°41'49.3"W. Found amongst Dilleniaceae and Poaceae. Description: An erect herb with purple petals and dark purple sepals. Faint floral odour to flowers. Found amongst Dilleniaceae and Poaceae. ROYAL BOTANIC GARDEN ?
