Don Det: Goodwin, ZA 2017 Belize: 500 m south of the Western Highway at mile 31 from Belize City, Monkey Bay. 44 m 17°19'04" N, 88°33'51" W Occasional shrubs 1.5 m, yellow glandular hairs on the soft leaves (sticky secretion), irregular zig zag branches; green persistent calyx, white pink corolla and large pink stamens. Plant in flower and fruit. Open canopy grassland with clumps of Acoelorraphe wrightii (Palm, 3 m), frequent Myrica cerifera (5 m) and frequent scattered Byrsonima crassifolia, abundance of herbs and grasses. Poor soil.
